This stunner is a Western Tiger Swallowtail butterfly mixed media collage.

The butterfly is painted on a layer of beautiful decorative paper which has been embellished with more paint and found objects and upcycled jewelry. There are small glass sequin-like beads and other textural elements added to the background. The entire artwork is coated in Art Resin. This resin is a high quality non-toxic product that seals & protects the delicate collage below. Resin coated artworks can be hung in higher humidity environments like bathrooms and kitchens and can be wiped down and dusted with a microfibre cloth and a gentle glass cleaner. The surface is high gloss and adds a luxurious quality to the artwork.
