This sweet fawn is a mixed media collage built on a 12 x 12 inch wooden cradle board . The background is a beautiful marbled-blue and gold handmade paper and the fawn is painted with acrylic paint on top of that. The corner is embellished with upcycled jewelry that I find at local second hand shops. The surface of the painting has been coated in Art Resin, and this deepens the colours of the paint and paper below. Resin provides a high gloss and durable surface which can be wiped/dusted with a soft cloth and can be displayed in higher humid rooms like kitchens and bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces.
