Lollipop Garden
This mixed media collage is very whimsical poppy garden scene constructed on 16 x 16 inches and built on a wooden cradle board. It is created from using paint, and paper and found metal objects, including a brooch butterfly and metal leaves. Some of the flowers are actually an abstract painting of mine that I've cut up into petals!
The entire painting is covered in 2 layers of Art Resin and is quite heavy. A sturdy screw in your wall is a good idea with this painting! The resin not only seals the collage in, but it also brings the colours to life while providing a gorgeous high gloss and durable (and wipeable) surface. Resined artworks can be displayed in higher humidity rooms like kitchens and bathrooms.
The resin surface can be wiped/dusted with a soft cloth and a gentle glass cleaner.
