This mixed media collage rooster is 16 x 16 inches and built on a wooden cradle board. It is created from using paint, and paper and found metal objects. In this case, the metal flowers were originally in a bracelet I found at a local second hand shop! The rooster's feathers are individually hand cut from beautiful and colourful paper. The entire painting is covered in 2 layers of Art Resin. This not only seals the collage in, but it also brings the colours to life while providing a gorgeous high gloss and durable (and wipeable) surface. Resined artworks can be displayed in higher humidity rooms like kitchens and bathrooms. Every kitchen needs a rooster! :)
The resin surface can be wiped/dusted with a soft cloth and a gentle glass cleaner.
